On November 17, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a document conveying the opinion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, criticizing 10 wards and communes including: Tran Bien, Long Hung, Tam Phuoc, Long Thanh, An Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Cam My, Xuan Dong, Xuan Duong, Thong Nhat for being slow in paying for domestic waste treatment costs.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of the 10 wards and communes mentioned above to seriously learn from experience, urgently coordinate with Sonadezi Services Joint Stock Company to accept, complete documents, prepare procedures, and pay for domestic waste treatment costs, to be completed no later than November 25, 2025.
In case localities are late in paying, leading to a situation of stopping receiving waste and stagnating waste in the area, the Chairman of the People's Committee of wards and communes is directly responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, on November 14, Sonadezi Service Joint Stock Company sent a document to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance and said that so far only 16/39 wards and communes have paid the cost of domestic waste treatment to the company according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the remaining more than 65 billion VND has not been paid.
The company has not yet received payment for domestic waste treatment costs from the end of 2024 in Long Thanh district (old) with an amount of nearly 170 million VND; From June 11, 2025 to June 30, 2025 for districts and cities (old) with an amount of nearly 15 billion VND.
Sonadezi Services Joint Stock Company proposed that the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct departments and branches to guide localities to complete the payment of outstanding loans from the end of 2024 to June 30, 2025.
At the same time, promptly advance or pay for waste treatment costs from July 1, 2025 to ensure that waste collection and treatment activities are not interrupted.
On the same day, a representative of Sonadezi Services Joint Stock Company said that waste collection and treatment activities have been accepted again.
