The incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on July 12 on National Highway 1, passing through Bac Binh Commune, Lam Dong Province. At that time, the sleeper bus with license plate 79H - 049.XX was traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Phan Rang.
When arriving at the above location, the driver discovered smoke billowing from the rear of the vehicle, so the vehicle was blown onto the roadside.
The people in the car quickly left the car. The bus company used a mini fire extinguisher to spray to put out the fire. Local people shouted and supported the fire.
Upon receiving the news, the Phan Ri Fire Prevention and Rescue Team mobilized officers and soldiers with specialized vehicles to the scene.
However, thanks to timely detection and quick extinguishing, the smoke was extinguished by local residents and bus companies, preventing a major fire from breaking out.
