On the evening of December 20, Pham The Hien Street (District 8) towards the churches located on this street experienced traffic congestion and long-term jams due to a large number of people coming here to visit and have fun.
At around 8:30 p.m., the atmosphere at Binh Thai Church became bustling as hundreds of people came here to admire the elaborately designed grottos, the splendidly decorated Christmas tree... combined with LED lights to create a warm, peaceful space.
Ms. Thu Xuan (District 4) and her husband and 2 children said they had been at this church for 30 minutes. "My children really like the miniatures decorated here, my family took many beautiful pictures," Ms. Xuan said.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Lan (District 8) said that her family is also Catholic. "I attend another parish, and today my nephew took me here to visit. Each church is decorated in its own way, with different beauty. I am very happy and excited to wait for Christmas," Ms. Lan shared.
Not only inside the churches, along Pham The Hien street, there are many caves and miniature landscapes built by families living on both sides of the street, attracting people to take pictures and visit.
Because Christmas falls in the middle of the week this year, it is expected that on Saturday and Sunday evenings this week (December 21-22), churches on Pham The Hien Street will continue to be crowded with people coming to have fun.
