Nearly a month ago, Son Tung M-TP also accidentally created a "trend" after a photo shoot of him drinking iced tea on the sidewalk.
The male singer stopped by a tea shop on Ba Trieu Street (Hanoi) and took a photo shoot. The post attracted more than 720 thousand interactions.
Right after Son Tung’s photo series, the number of searches for the keyword “iced tea” suddenly increased on Google. After a few hours, the Google Trend system recorded that the level of user interest related to this keyword reached 97%.
A day later, the search rate for this keyword was still above 80%. On social networks, audiences were bustling to combine photos of themselves sitting next to Son Tung.
Just a few hours after the male singer posted the photo, the tea shop was packed with customers. The owner even had to add more chairs so that customers could sit on the sidewalk. Young people lined up to take photos and have a "cheap moment" with their idol.
By the afternoon of the same day, the authorities had to close this tea shop, disperse the crowd, and prevent gatherings that could cause disorder.
Previously, Son Tung was also the initiator of many trends such as the two-pants fashion, fur hats or... T-shirts bought at Da Lat market.
After more than 10 years of activity, Son Tung has maintained his popularity and interactions on social networking platforms are always outstanding.

In 2024, Spotify Wrapped also announced the list of most listened songs in Vietnam, in which Son Tung M-TP had 2 songs: "Dung lam trai tim anh dau" at the top of the list, and "Chung ta cua tuong lai" at number 7.
