The inter-regional traffic route connecting Ho Chi Minh road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai is a key project of Phu Tho province. The total investment of the project after adjustment is 2,120 billion VND, invested by the Department of Transport.
As Lao Dong reported, in early 2024, about 24km out of a total of more than 50km of the main inter-regional route was handed over (mainly in Ha Hoa district, Phu Tho province). After that, relevant agencies conducted a traffic safety audit on the remaining sections (mainly in Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province).
Regarding the inter-regional route through Cam Khe district, nearly 30km long, according to the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province, up to now, 5 sections with a length of more than 7km have been handed over and put into operation, including: Section km3+300-km4+831 DT.315D, belonging to Dong Luong commune; section km6+176-km7+500 DT.315D, belonging to Dieu Luong commune; section km8+00-km9+147 DT.315D, belonging to Yen Duong and Van Khuc communes; section km28-314-km29+154 DT.315D and section km30-800-km33+020 DT.315D, belonging to Tien Luong commune.
With the section in Yen Duong commune intersecting with DT.313C, the last unfinished section in Cam Khe district, after the people handed over the site, the contractor urgently completed the construction items.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter on October 28, this 400m long section has been paved with asphalt.
The handover and putting into use of the entire inter-regional road is the desire of the people of Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province, especially when Tu My bridge on National Highway 32C is restricting traffic due to repairs, all cars have to go around the Bua river bridge on the inter-regional road (the bridge has been put into use).
"If the entire inter-regional route through Cam Khe district is put into use, it will be very good. Vehicles will be able to travel through Song Bua bridge from Tam Nong district to Cam Khe and will be able to go straight, without having to go around National Highway 32C anymore" - Mr. Nguyen Kim Thinh, a resident of Yen Duong commune, shared.
According to the representative of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic, Civil and Industrial Works of Phu Tho Province (under the Department of Transport, the unit assigned to manage the project) - this afternoon, October 28, the investor and related agencies and units will conduct an inspection of the remaining undelivered sections of the inter-regional road in Cam Khe district (more than 20km left). If there are no problems, the acceptance and handover will be carried out this week.
Regarding the project to build an inter-regional traffic route connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai, recently, Package No. 32: Construction of a branch route connecting the main route with Cam Khe Industrial Park worth more than 121 billion VND has selected a contractor.
Accordingly, Transport Construction Corporation 8 - JSC surpassed the remaining 6 contractors to win the above package, with a value of more than 96 billion VND, saving the budget more than 25 billion VND.
