On May 23, a clip was spread on social networks of a girl being spun around twice by a rotating wheel of a sugarcane juice juicer. Watching the clip, many people expressed fear of labor accidents related to sugarcane juicers.
The incident happened at about 11:30 am on May 22nd on DX 26 street, Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The victim in the incident is Ms. V.T. N. Y (born in 2008, residing in Ho Chi Minh City).
Initial information, at the above time, Ms. V.T. N. Y pressed sugarcane juice to sell to customers. While pressing, Ms. Y's hand got caught in the spinning wheel. In just a moment, the girl was lifted up by the spinning wheel and spun around twice.
Seeing the incident, the sugarcane juice buyer immediately ran to cut off the power. After that, people removed the girl's hand from the sugarcane juice juicer and took the girl to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Family members said that the girl is in difficult circumstances and is currently being treated at Binh Duong General Hospital. The victim suffered a broken nose bridge and broken arm, and is being actively treated by doctors.
