The Internal Security Department of An Giang Provincial Police has just coordinated with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha and local authorities to organize the handover ceremony of 15 houses of great solidarity in Hoa Thuan commune and present 200 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Giong Rieng commune.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 14th Party Congress, and at the same time effectively implement activities in the "Volunteer Spring" Program in 2026 associated with the movement "All people protect national security" and the emulation movement "Three Firsts" in the People's Police.
The houses built this time have an area of over 32m2, solid structure, corrugated iron roof, brick floor, ensuring stable and safe living conditions for beneficiary households. The total construction cost of 15 houses is over 525 million VND, supported by the Department of Homeland Security mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside the province. This is a practical source of encouragement, contributing to helping disadvantaged families settle down to feel secure in labor production and rise up in life.
In addition to handing over houses, the unit also presented many essential gifts such as household appliances and necessities for daily life to households.
On this occasion, the units coordinated to present 200 gifts, worth a total of 50 million VND, to households in difficult circumstances in Giong Rieng commune. This shows the concern and sharing of the Police force with the people, especially during the upcoming traditional Tet holiday.
This activity is part of the "2 An" Model (Security and Order - Social Security) implemented by An Giang Provincial Police in coordination with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha and local authorities in the past time. Through the model, many meaningful social security activities have been organized, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, while maintaining stability in security and order right from the grassroots level.
