On December 22, Hanoi City Police (CATP) held a Conference on professional opinions to evaluate and discuss solutions to ensure security and order (ANTT), advise on removing difficulties and obstacles to serve site clearance (GPMB), and implement key projects in Hanoi City.
At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hung - Head of the Hanoi City Internal Security Department - said that in the past time, under the strong and close leadership and direction of the City Party Committee and People's Committee, directly the Secretary of the City Party Committee, the site clearance work for key transport projects has been focused on and is being implemented with a spirit of urgency and synchronization.
The implementation process is always closely linked to ensuring security and order, stabilizing the situation right from the grassroots, thereby making an important contribution to serving socio-economic development, gradually solving urban infrastructure problems, reducing traffic congestion, and improving the quality of life of the people of the capital.
Currently, Hanoi has focused on implementing 5 key projects to renovate and upgrade traffic routes (Ring Road 2.5; Ring Road 4. National Highway 6 section Ba La - Xuan Mai; National Highway 21, National Highway 1A) and 7 projects to overpass the Red River (Tu Lien Bridge; Ngoc Hoi Bridge; Tran Hung Dao Bridge; Thuong Cat Bridge; Van Phuc Bridge; Hong Ha Bridge; Me So Bridge).
Basically, the site clearance work for the above projects is being actively implemented by the People's Committees of wards and communes according to the plan, however, there are still some difficulties and problems that need to continue to be focused on to advise on resolving, ensuring general progress and maintaining security and stability throughout the implementation process.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police Department - emphasized the especially important responsibility of the Public Security force in advising and ensuring security and order for site clearance to implement key projects and works of the city.
The Director of Hanoi City Electricity Company requested units to carry out tasks with the highest sense of responsibility, proactively overcome all difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process.
Units must grasp the situation, causes, and roots of each problem and incident related to site clearance; on that basis, advise promptly, accurately, and accurately to Party committees and authorities at all levels to implement site clearance work to ensure the set progress.
The implementation process must ensure flexibility in propaganda, mobilization, and persuasion of the people, but resolutely handle cases of intentional violations.
In addition, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested that CATP units establish specialized working groups, assign tasks to each key project with the motto "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear time".
In particular, the Internal Security Department plays a core role, presiding over the general and overall situation of the projects, promptly consulting, coordinating, ensuring unity and synchronization throughout the entire force, contributing to the effective implementation of site clearance tasks associated with maintaining security and order stability in the capital.
"I believe that the entire capital police force will promote the highest sense of responsibility, solidarity, and determination to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to ensuring the progress of key projects and works of the city" - Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized.
