On December 1, Hanoi City Police (CATP) held a conference to discuss the progress of implementing Plan No. 375 dated October 31, 2025 on a peak of 60 days and nights of general review and cleaning of vehicle registration and driving license (GPLX) data in the capital.
At the Conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Me - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) presented a summary report on the 3-week progress of the implementation of Plan 375, clearly stating the number of vehicle records and driving licenses that have been reviewed, compared, and updated; arising problems; data needs to continue to be verified and some difficulties in the process of verifying vehicle owner's information.
Units in the CATP have closely coordinated and implemented many synchronous measures, thereby widely propagating the policies of the City Party Committee, City People's Committee, Party Committee - Committee of the CATP, and people in the city basically grasp and support the Capital Police force to perform well the assigned tasks.
Direct 100% of officers, soldiers, workers, and labor contracts at units to fully declare vehicle information of themselves and family members on the iHanoi application; have sent official dispatches to 1,592 businesses and business households, directly working with nearly 200 businesses; 168 schools and hospitals have counted the number of vehicles managed by the unit; 45 business agencies have declared 2,428 vehicles.
Commune-level police have increased 22,272 vehicles (an increase of 382.16%). 126/126 Commune-level Police have compared the information of the vehicle driver, reaching 95-100%. In addition, the Traffic Police Department has coordinated with the Public Administration Service Center to upgrade and complete iHanoi software to ensure scientificity with many important features, providing maximum support for the people.
The report also oriented key tasks and assigned specific tasks to each unit, each officer and soldier with the motto "clear people, clear work, clear efficiency, clear time".
The report also pointed out a number of shortcomings, limitations, and causes of shortcomings in the implementation of Plan No. 375 of CATP, criticized a number of units collecting citizen data matching data and approving data matching assigned by the Traffic Police Department at a low rate; praised the units for their determination in collecting citizen data matching data assigned by the Traffic Police Department at a high rate.
Concluding the Conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Ky - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police acknowledged the efforts of the units and requested the entire CATP force to continue to focus all their efforts on the final stage of the 60-day and night peak.
Major General Nguyen Hong Ky emphasized that it is necessary to ensure that 100% of vehicles and driving licenses are qualified to be reviewed and cleaned in accordance with regulations; request the Commune and Ward Police to continue to innovate propaganda methods, increase support for people to declare and update data; functional departments improve the effectiveness of coordination, inspection, supervision, and ensure daily progress.
