On the morning of April 29, Son La Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce and award decisions to promote ranks and raise salaries for officers and soldiers.
This time, 19 Heads of Departments and equivalents were promoted from Senior Colonel to Colonel; 57 officials who are Team Leaders of professional departments, Heads of Commune and Ward Police were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Senior Colonel and salary grades were increased.
The promotion is carried out according to Circular No. 24/2026/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security, aiming to improve the position and responsibility of the leadership and commanding staff, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized that this is the recognition of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security for the efforts of officers and soldiers. At the same time, he requested comrades to continue to train, improve their qualifications, promote the spirit of responsibility, and successfully complete the task of ensuring security and order in the area.
Representing the promoted officials, Colonel Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of the Provincial Police Staff Department, affirmed that he will continue to strive, maintain political bravery, and excellently complete tasks, worthy of the trust of leaders and people.
