On April 27, Son La Department of Construction said that due to heavy rain from April 25-26, at Km17+765 - Km17+780 (P)/DT. 101 (Van Ho - Quang Minh branch), belonging to Doan Ket commune, a rock landslide occurred from the positive slope down to the road surface, the volume of landslide soil and rock was large, causing traffic congestion.
Immediately after the incident, the route management unit mobilized machinery, coordinated with functional forces and local authorities to organize clearing and safety assurance. However, the taluy area is rocky, continuously landslides, posing a potential risk of unsafety, so recovery is facing many difficulties.

Son La Provincial Department of Construction announced the temporary suspension of traffic through the route section from 9:05 am on April 27 until the handling is completed. Traffic is expected to be cleared on April 30.
Functional sectors request localities to widely disseminate information so that people in the area can proactively plan routes, and at the same time request transport units to adjust exploitation plans accordingly, ensuring traffic safety.
