On the morning of March 1, Dak Lak Provincial Police held a handover ceremony and received functions and tasks from departments and branches to the Provincial Police.
Implementing the Central Government's direction on Resolution No. 18, Dak Lak Provincial Police have been urgently carrying out their tasks in the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time", "not asking for completion but not being impatient".
Up to now, the Provincial Police and related departments and branches have basically completed most of the tasks of handing over, receiving new tasks and terminating the tasks of the District Police.
From March 1, Dak Lak Provincial Police will take on 5 additional functions and tasks of State management.

Including State Management of network information security (from the Department of Information and Communications); ensuring aviation security (from Buon Ma Thuot Airport); drug addiction treatment and post-drug addiction management (from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs); road motor vehicle driving license testing and issuance (from the Department of Transport); criminal records and performing public services for issuing criminal records (from the Department of Justice).
According to Dak Lak Provincial Police, the organizational apparatus of the Provincial Police is arranged and streamlined into 2 levels. Including provincial and commune-level police, not organizing district-level police.
In this arrangement and streamlining, the Provincial Police have reduced 15 district-level police units and 138 team-level units. There are 152 department-level leaders, district police leaders, and team commanders who have applied for early retirement, early retirement benefits; applied to hold a lower position or ceased to hold a position.
