Based on the results of the overall review, the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Police Party Committee held a meeting to assess democracy, objectivity, and transparency in the arrangement and assignment of officers in accordance with the orientation of the Ministry of Public Security to strengthen grassroots police and direct combat forces.
After perfecting the organizational arrangement, the Provincial Police reduced 9 district-level units, 67 team-level units, ensuring streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Colonel Cao Minh Huyen - Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police requested units and localities to uphold their spirit and responsibility; immediately start performing assigned tasks, directing, inspecting and reviewing assigned programs, plans and tasks.
Officers and soldiers were quickly transferred to stabilize in the new unit, promote their abilities and qualifications, focus on research, grasp their functions, tasks, and work processes to excellently complete the tasks.
