On the afternoon of February 28, Binh Thuan Provincial Police held a Conference to deploy the Decision to reorganize and streamline the Provincial Police apparatus.
At the Conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huong - Head of the Provincial Police Department's Organization and Personnel Department announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the dissolution of the Public Security of 10 districts, towns and cities in the province.
At the same time, the Decisions of the Provincial Police Director on the arrangement and assignment of work for 10 Police Chiefs at the district, town and city levels after the disolution were announced. Announce decisions on new tasks for officers to 7 Department Heads of the Provincial Police and 40 Deputy Department Heads and Deputy Heads of District Police.
Previously, to facilitate the work of streamlining the apparatus, 23 leaders (10 department heads, 7 deputy department heads, 6 deputy police heads of districts and towns) voluntarily wrote a resignation letter despite their service age limit.
To operate the new apparatus smoothly and bring higher efficiency, Colonel Le Quang Nhan - Director of Binh Thuan Provincial Police requested that the provincial police and commune-level police units quickly stabilize the new apparatus, reassign tasks to leaders, commanders and officers and soldiers appropriately. When the police at the commune level are strengthened, they need to effectively resolve the security and order situation right from the grassroots level.
