Late on July 25, Hanoi City Police had initial information related to the fire at a construction complex on 25m street, Thanh Liet ward.
Accordingly, at about 6:06 pm on July 25, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report about the above-mentioned fire.
Immediately after receiving information, through initial verification, determining that the fire was developing rapidly, with the risk of spreading to warehouse areas and nearby business establishments, the City Police Information and Command Center urgently dispatched 12 fire trucks and more than 70 officers and soldiers to the scene.
At the same time, dispatched 2 command vehicles, 2 trucks carrying vehicles, 1 pumping station truck and 1 water tank truck directly to the scene to command and organize fire fighting and rescue operations.


Immediately after functional forces approached the scene, the fire developed on a large scale, the fire engulfed the warehouse area and surrounding works.
Firefighting work faced many difficulties due to strong winds causing fire to break out and spread quickly; large amount of flammable material, high heat radiation, and dense smoke hindered reconnaissance and access to the fire. In addition, the exploitation of water sources to serve firefighting in the scene area faced many obstacles.
After a period of efforts to implement fire fighting measures with the coordination and support of forces and local authorities, by about 7:32 pm on the same day, the fire was basically controlled; by about 7:45 pm, the fire was basically extinguished.
Functional forces promptly protected, preventing the fire from spreading to more than 1,000m2 of warehouse area and adjacent works.
According to initial information, the fire did not cause any casualties. Property damage and the cause of the fire are being further统计, investigated, and clarified by functional agencies.
