Dong Nai - Long Thanh airport passenger terminal center with a lotus-shaped light-taking roof system is gradually being completed, creating a unique architectural highlight.
On July 20, according to Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), package No. 5, 10 - Construction and installation of equipment for the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal has reached a volume of about 67.08% compared to the contract value.
In which, the reinforced concrete structure of the underground part, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors; steel roof structure (central roof area, wings area, telescopic bridge area, elevation support frame, maintenance frame, roof frame support frame...) and the roof layers of the terminal - have been completed.
The highlight is that in the central area of Long Thanh airport passenger terminal, the aluminum ceiling system for taking light is gradually being completed, creating a unique architectural highlight.
According to ACV, the roof of Long Thanh airport passenger terminal is designed with soft, elegant lines, recreating the image of a blooming lotus.
When completed, the lotus-shaped light-taking roof system will not only contribute to creating a modern, airy and naturally lit architectural space, but also become an identity mark imbued with Vietnamese identity of Long Thanh airport passenger terminal.

According to the schedule, package 5.10 will basically complete all items and put into trial operation phases from September 2026 and commercial operation in December 2026.
