Recently, the DH09 inter-commune road section through Tan My commune (Tuyen Quang) has seriously degraded. A series of potholes appeared on the road.
According to Mr. Ma Van Hung - Head of Hung Tien village (Tan My), the above road has been paved, completed and put into use for many years. Over time, the road has gradually deteriorated, greatly affecting the travel of local people.

"The road is currently full of potholes, many people on the road have fallen. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been recorded. At the same time, the degraded traffic routes have limited the circulation of goods, causing many difficulties for the economic and social development of the area where the road passes through," Mr. Hung shared.
It is known that in the short term, the locality has not had a plan to comprehensively repair or rebuild the road.
Faced with the above situation, Tan My Commune Police mobilized forces, coordinated with the government and the people to organize leveling and repairing severely damaged locations on DH09 road.

On October 25 alone, dozens of officers and soldiers of Tan My Commune Police and other organizations leveled more than 20 potholes on a 4km long road. Thereby, contributing to ensuring the safety of people and vehicles when traveling on the route.
This is a practical activity to ensure safety and convenience for people's traffic participation. At the same time, it contributes to building the image of People's Public Security soldiers close to the people, serving the people.
However, the above operation is only a temporary solution, local people hope that the authorities will soon have a plan to upgrade and repair the entire DH09 route to ensure safe and convenient travel.

While waiting for a comprehensive repair plan, the authorities recommend that people traveling through the damaged road area should reduce speed and observe carefully, especially at night. Drivers need to go in the right direction, not brake suddenly or encroach on the lane to avoid unfortunate collisions.
Local authorities also encourage people to raise awareness of maintaining infrastructure, not carrying goods that exceed the design load, and limit further damage to the road surface. Maintaining a safe and smooth route not only serves the daily travel needs but also contributes to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
