19 working groups were established with 97 officers, traffic police officers and 34 commune-level police officers. The working groups were fully equipped with means and technical equipment, deployed simultaneously from 12:00 on October 18 on key routes in communes and wards.
The purpose is to strengthen inspection and handling of alcohol concentration violations by vehicle drivers participating in traffic.
Previously, the Traffic Police force conducted a survey to grasp the situation in the area, identify routes and locations where traffic accidents and alcohol concentration violations frequently occur.
From the results of grasping the practical situation, the working groups have developed appropriate patrol and control plans, combining publicity and disguise and ambush, to proactively detect, prevent and strictly handle violations right from the grassroots.
The Traffic Police Department affirmed that any cases of alcohol concentration violations when detected will be strictly handled according to the law, without forbidden areas, without exceptions, without any factor allowing any intervention or affecting the handling process.
At the same time, for violators who obstruct, dis cooperate or resist, the authorities will resolutely handle them according to the provisions of the law.
The establishment of 19 working groups to handle alcohol concentration violations in communes and wards demonstrates the high political determination of the Ha Tinh Police force in restoring traffic safety and order, while sending a strong message to the people: After drinking alcohol or beer, absolutely do not drive.
