On February 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province said that the province will organize the "Weekend Gong - Enjoy & Experience" program at the provincial level, aiming to preserve and promote the value of the intangible cultural heritage of the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space.

The program is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province, in coordination with the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province. The implementation period is from March to the end of December 2026, taking place on Saturday evenings every week (from 7 pm to 9 pm) and related holidays and events.

The venue is Dai Doan Ket Square, Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and some communes and wards in the province.

The program content includes performing gongs, traditional musical instruments, folk songs, folk dances; recreating the space of traditional cultural activities. In addition, visitors can also interact, learn and directly experience gongs, musical instruments, rituals, and traditional festivals using gongs.

The program contributes to arousing pride, raising awareness of heritage preservation in the community, promoting local tourism development and promoting the image of Gia Lai land and people to domestic and international tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province will widely inform travel agencies and accommodation establishments inside and outside the province to attract tourists to participate and experience.
