According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, implementing the plan of Hanoi City Police on a peak period of propaganda, inspection, and handling of students and parents violating traffic safety regulations, in November 2025, the Traffic Police force and the Police of the units discovered and handled 3,130 students in violation, and made a list to send to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for coordination to rectify.

According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, in recent times, the situation of students violating traffic order and safety in the city has changed positively.
Behaviors such as driving motorbikes, motorbikes without helmets, carrying more people than the prescribed number... have decreased significantly. Parents' awareness of complying with traffic safety laws at school gates has also been raised, contributing to ensuring safety for students.
Statistics from the Hanoi Traffic Police Department show that from October 9 to November 15, 2025, the traffic police force will coordinate with the grassroots police and schools to organize 81 direct propaganda sessions on traffic safety, with more than 80,000 students, parents, staff and teachers attending.

Also during the above period, through patrolling and controlling, the authorities discovered and handled 3,130 cases of students violating traffic safety laws.
Of which, 216 were junior high school students; 2,091 were high school students; 161 were continuing education students...
Many schools have a high number of students violating, typically: Dong Kinh High School (42 cases); Xuan Dinh High School (26 cases); Tran Hung Dao High School (24 cases); Tay Ho High School (19 cases); Ta Quang Buu High School (16 cases); Lomonosov High School (15 cases)...


To improve the effectiveness of implementing Directive No. 31 of the Prime Minister and the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee on ensuring traffic order and safety for school-age children, Hanoi City Police will continue to closely coordinate with the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to promote propaganda and dissemination of laws on traffic safety.
At the same time, strengthen patrols to control and strictly handle violations among school-age children, in order to prevent accidents and ensure a safe and healthy traffic environment for children.
