The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on September 18 at km 1+300 of Provincial Road 398C in Vuon Dao residential group, Tran Hung Dao ward. At this time, a truck with a sealed box was traveling from National Highway 37 to Dong Viet Bridge when it collided with an electric bicycle driven by Mr. L.V.C (born in 1947, residing in Bac Dau residential group, Tran Hung Dao ward) who was crossing the street.
As a result, Mr. C died. The preliminary cause was that Mr. C crossed the road in violation of regulations. The truck driver did not pay attention, did not slow down or stopped to ensure safety according to regulations.
