Continuing the journey of sacred worship in Vietnam, from May 25 to May 28, the Rehabilitation of Buddha Shakyamuni and Mo Ni was honored at the Yen Tu Scenic Land - the cradle of Truc Lam Zen sect, the first Buddhist Zen movement with Vietnamese identity founded by Buddha Tran Nhan Tong in the 13th century.
After 4 days of solemn renovation at Truc Lam Palace, the Yen Tu Scenic Landscape Area, more than 1 million people and Buddhist visitors from all over have come to worship and worship the Reward of Buddha Shakyamuni.
To prepare for this special religious event, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province has closely coordinated with the provincial authorities to implement a decoration and celebration plan; ensure security, order, traffic, health care and rescue. Nearly 10,000 volunteers and functional forces have been mobilized to guide and support people and Buddhists to worship.
Every day, the Organizing Committee has served tens of thousands of free meals and drinks to people and tourists.
Notably, in the journey to honor sacred things in Vietnam, Quang Ninh is the only locality that opens the door all night to welcome people, tourists and Buddhists to the Buddha's festival. The groups of people coming to worship all complied with the regulations set by the organizing committee, holding hands and reciting verses over a long distance with support from volunteers.
Within the framework of the event, there were also flower offering and national peace prayers.
