From the beginning of December 2025 to now, the Dong Van Commune Public Service Center (Tuyen Quang province) has promoted propaganda about the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in many forms.
Reality shows that in remote and isolated areas where the main population is Mong ethnic people, election propaganda combined with cultural exchanges is very enthusiastic for the people.
Mr. Vang Seo Vu (Mong ethnic person, Dong Van commune) said that he knows Vietnamese, but many sentences related to commune official elections must be explained in Mong to understand clearly. He has fully participated in recent election propaganda campaigns.
Going to listen to officials propagate about the election and also watch art performances is very fun, our people go in large numbers. Propaganda books and newspapers are also in both Vietnamese and Mong languages, so people in the village understand and tell each other to go to the election in mid-March," Mr. Su shared.
Dong Van commune (Tuyen Quang province) was merged from 5 old administrative units and currently has 69 villages and hamlets with nearly 26,000 people, of which Mong ethnic people account for over 80% of the population.
This is one of the large areas belonging to the Dong Van Karst Plateau region, many villages are far from the center, and transportation is difficult. Propaganda in Mong is identified as a key solution to help people understand the meaning and importance of the election.

Ms. Sung Thi Say - Director of Dong Van Commune Public Service Center, said that the locality's characteristics are that there are many Mong ethnic people living, so building bilingual propaganda content, in which Mong language plays a very important role.
Propaganda officials assigned must be fluent in Mong language, understand customs and habits to explain clearly and specifically each content about voting rights, how to record ballots, and voting time.
Propaganda is regularly organized in the evening, when people are at home after a day of going to the fields. This year we organize direct propaganda in Mong language right at the market fair," Ms. Say informed.
Over the past time, the Sub-committee on Information, Propaganda and Mobilization for the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term of Tuyen Quang province has strengthened propaganda activities and forms on many platforms.

Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha - Vice Chairwoman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee (Head of the Sub-Committee) said that the official election day is approaching, this is an important time, the peak period for implementing information and propaganda to help people continue to understand the meaning and importance of the election.
Leaders of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee requested to continue to strengthen the work of grasping and monitoring the ideological situation and public opinion, especially in cyberspace.
Proactively detect early, advise on handling, orient information, and fight against wrong, hostile, and distorted views related to the election.
Tuyen Quang province has set 762 electoral units, including 4 units for election of National Assembly deputies, 13 units for election of provincial People's Council deputies, and 745 units for election of commune-level People's Council deputies.
The total number of elected delegates is 2,604 delegates, including 10 National Assembly deputies, 62 provincial People's Council delegates, 2,532 commune-level People's Council delegates. The whole province arranged 2,404 voting areas.
The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly passed a Resolution on shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. The election date for the 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is Sunday, March 15, 2026.
