The fire broke out at a factory on Ton Dan Street, Hoa An Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City, a candle manufacturing facility and warehouse at around 1:45 a.m. on May 14.
Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police (FPF) Police in Da Nang City urgently mobilized forces. The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Team of Region 2 with 2 fire engines and 14 officers and soldiers were quickly present, coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Teams of Region 1 and the Fire Prevention and Fighting Forces of Hai Chau and Thanh Khe districts.
The units deployed many attacks, focusing on extinguishing the fire inside the workshop and spraying water to cool down, preventing the risk of the fire spreading to adjacent houses. After more than 2 hours of continuous efforts, by 3:40 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely controlled.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. However, many equipment, machinery and assets inside the factory were burned down. The specific cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
