This morning (December 19), the People's Committee of Da Nang City coordinated with Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (under the BIN Corporation ecosystem) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park (IP) Project - Sub-area B. This is a key project to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance War (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025).
The Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park Project - Sub-area B has a scale of 346 hectares, located in Thang Dien and Thang Truong communes, Da Nang city (belonging to Chu Lai Open Economic Zone). With a total investment of more than VND 3,373 billion, the project is expected to turn the arid white sand area filled with bombs and mines after the war into a modern industrial growth pole.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized: "We do not trade the environment for economic growth alone". The project is oriented according to the ecological industrial park model, prioritizing high-tech, semiconductor, clean energy and deep processing industries.
Job opportunities for local people
For workers, this is good news as the project is expected to solve employment and increase income for tens of thousands of workers.
Mr. Le Hung Anh - Chairman of BIN Corporation Group (Investor) passionately shared: "We hope that local children will have jobs right in their homeland; people not only give up their land but also accompany and benefit from development".
The leaders of Da Nang City also note that in the process of urban development around the industrial park, it is necessary to especially arrange land funds to ensure housing for workers, creating the most favorable conditions for workers to settle down and make a living.
