The Working Groups are responsible for inspecting, directing the removal of difficulties and promoting disbursement for both public and private investment projects. The teams will review, synthesize problems, analyze causes and propose solutions to improve capital efficiency. At the same time, consider the responsibility of heads of agencies and localities in disbursing capital, ensuring implementation in accordance with the Government's direction. The team leader will directly inspect the facility, direct the resolution of problems according to authority and report to superiors on issues beyond their authority.
On August 14, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong inspected the actual project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E. According to the report, the project is facing major difficulties in site clearance in Thang Binh commune, especially the railway overpass construction area. Currently, there are 89 households that have not yet handed over the site, making it impossible for the contractor to construct some items despite concentrating human resources. The issue of relocating electricity, water and telecommunications systems also does not meet the schedule.
After the inspection, Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong affirmed that National Highway 14E is a project of great significance for socio-economic development and regional linkage. Mr. Cuong requested the two communes of Thang Binh and Dong Duong to focus on applying all policies to ensure maximum benefits for the people, prioritizing site clearance for construction contractors. In particular, he emphasized that units must urgently complete procedures and documents related to site clearance for the railway overpass before September 15. Mr. Cuong directed the units to work on many tasks at the same time, avoid thinking about waiting for each other, and resolve each case thoroughly to create trust for the people.
