Da Nang City Department of Industry and Trade informed about receiving feedback from businesses and consumers related to violations in price listing, selling at incorrect listed prices and signs of unreasonable price increases in the area.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the face of the increase in domestic and world gasoline and oil prices, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) due to geopolitical impacts, input costs in many industries tend to increase, affecting production, business and people's lives.
Implementing the direction of Da Nang City People's Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the market management force has strengthened inspection and control, focusing on complying with the regulations on price listing and selling at listed prices at business establishments, especially essential goods.
However, through monitoring, it is still recorded that some goods and services are not directly affected by gasoline and oil price fluctuations but still increase in price, even showing signs of taking advantage of the situation to adjust prices that are not suitable for actual costs, affecting consumer rights and the competitive environment.
The Department of Industry and Trade requests business organizations and individuals to strictly implement regulations on price management, listing and selling at listed prices; not to take advantage of market fluctuations to unreasonably increase prices. At the same time, organizations, individuals and businesses need to proactively coordinate market surveillance, and promptly report violations to functional agencies.
Functional agencies also announced the hotline phone number of Da Nang City Market Management Sub-Department: 0829. 001. 799 to receive information and handle it according to regulations.
In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to strengthen regular and unscheduled inspections, resolutely handle violations to stabilize the market, protect consumer rights and build a transparent business environment in the city.
