On June 2, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that the province's 2026 public investment plan assigned is 10,469.316 billion VND. Of which, the province has detailed allocation of 9,551.541 billion VND to implement tasks and projects, reaching 91.23%; the amount of capital not yet detailed is 917.775 billion VND.
According to research in the first 6 months of 2026, projects in the area face many difficulties in site clearance, mainly related to land prices and compensation plans for people in the project area. Currently, the province has more than 140 traffic, urban, residential, school and economic zone infrastructure projects with a total investment of more than 7,725 billion VND behind schedule due to site clearance problems.
Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, said that by the end of May 2026, the whole province had disbursed about 18% of the total public investment capital allocated, equivalent to the national average.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to urge investors to accelerate the project implementation progress, striving to disburse 100% of the public investment capital plan for 2026, including the capital plan for 2026 and the capital for 2025 that is allowed to be extended to 2026.
According to Mr. Thai, in order to promptly grasp the situation and have effective operating solutions, the Provincial People's Committee requests the directors of provincial-level specialized project management boards, directly affiliated project management boards, and chairmen of commune and ward People's Committees to urgently review all directives of provincial leaders.
The reports must clearly state the list of completed and unfinished tasks; analyze subjective and objective reasons leading to delays or failure to send written commitments on progress.
In addition, units must develop and send written commitments on implementation progress and detailed disbursement for the assigned capital plan to ensure the completion of disbursement targets in 2026.
