Currently, the Serepok bridge area has been installed with 2 security cameras to monitor and prevent people jumping off the bridge to commit suicide. However, to continue preventing and preventing unintended incidents from happening, the Commune People's Committee continues to install 1 more camera to ensure security.
According to Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee, these security cameras have the function of proactively warning when detecting unusual incidents in the bridge area. Thereby, warning of unusual and suspicious activities to send information to the commune police.
On the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police are organizing a search for a young man suspected of jumping off a bridge to commit suicide.
Previously, in the afternoon of January 10, people discovered a motorbike and personal belongings on bridge 14 (Serepok River area, bordering Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces), so they reported it to functional agencies.
According to the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police, at about 3:32 pm on January 10, the unit received a report at Serepok bridge (section belonging to hamlet 6, Hoa Phu commune, Dak Lak province) that a young man jumped off the bridge.
