On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of May 30, 2025, at the International Convention Center (Hanoi), the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Mobilization, coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Journalists Association, Ho Chi Minh National Academy The national scientific draft with the theme "100 years of revolutionary Vietnam's revolutionary press accompanying the glorious career of the Party and the nation".
The workshop was attended by Party and State leaders, representatives of leaders of departments, ministries, branches, and central agencies; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and more than 400 delegates who are experts, scientists, and central and local press agencies.
The seminar aims to affirm the great contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press to the glorious career of the Party and the nation through historical journeys; is a scientific forum for experts, scientists, generations of journalists, leaders and managers about the press to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues about the history of formation and development of the Vietnamese revolutionary press; Since then, drawing experience, proposing directions and solutions to develop journalism to effectively serve the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era.
At the same time, the Workshop is a meaningful and practical activity to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1975 - June 21, 2025), contributing to encouraging and motivating the team of journalists to continue promoting the glorious tradition, constantly striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges, maintaining political will, innovation, creativity, shock, and pioneering on the ideological and cultural front...
According to the Organizing Committee, up to now, the Workshop has received 100 presentations from experts, scientists, researchers, journalists, leaders, and managers of journalism, deepening the scientific and practical significance of the event of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, expressed through 5 main contents such as:
(1) Revolutionary press accompanies the nation in the struggle for national independence (1925-1945);
(2) Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanied the nation in the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism, making an important contribution to the victory of the people's democratic revolution and national reunification;
(3) Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanies the nation in building socialism nationwide and in the period of innovation and integration;
(4) New context, advantages, difficulties and problems for Vietnamese revolutionary journalism;
(5) Solutions to build and develop Vietnam's revolutionary press in the new era.
