Regarding the truck plunging into Ta Zon mountain abyss on the morning of April 8, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy are conducting scene examination. Initially, functional agencies determined that this was a labor accident.
The identities of the 3 deceased victims were identified as Nguyen Kim Trung Th. (born 1989, residing in hamlet 2, Ham Thuan commune), Le Van M. (born 1977, residing in hamlet 3, Ham Thuan commune), Nguyen Thanh Nh. (born 2001, residing in Can Tho city).
Driver Nguyen Tan Truong (born 1999, residing in Nghe An province) was injured.
People at the scene said that the victims were mostly local workers.
According to initial information from functional agencies, the incident occurred at 8:40 am on April 8 in the Ta Zon mountainside area of hamlet 2, Ham Thuan commune.

Suddenly, this truck plunged into a mountain abyss. At the foot of the mountain, the truck crashed into the dining room of a mineral mining company and then stopped.
As a result, 2 people died on the truck bed at the scene. 2 injured people were taken to the emergency room but 1 died. The other driver is being treated at Binh Thuan General Hospital.
It is known that in the Ta Zon mountain area, there is a trail to go up the mountain.
Determining that this was a particularly serious case, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police and professional units urgently examined the scene and investigated to clarify the case.
