On the morning of May 20, Mr. Do Van Khoa - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Son commune (Thuy Nguyen city, Hai Phong) informed that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area.
At around 7:00 p.m. on May 19, the local authorities received a report of a drowning incident that occurred in the Nui Nam canal area (village 4, Ninh Son commune). The victim was born in 2020, residing in village 5, Ninh Son commune. That same evening, the child was cycling for exercise when he unfortunately plunged into the canal.
After receiving the news, the local authorities coordinated the rescue force and the masses to implement the plan to find the baby. At more than 23:00 on the same day, the forces found the baby's body, handing over to the family to take care of the incident.
According to the leader of Ninh Son Commune People's Committee, the Nui Nam canal area has had many tragic drowning accidents. Here, the locality continues to warn people, especially children, about preventing accidents, injuries, and drowning accidents in this area.
