Project on Repairing partial damage to the roadbed, road surface, works on the route and registering procedures on provincial road 128B - approved by Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee from May 8, 2026 according to Decision No. 887/QD-UBND.
This is a project belonging to Group C, with a total investment of 44 billion VND invested by the Lai Chau Provincial Department of Construction.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Lai Chau Provincial Department of Construction has just issued a bidding invitation for the Package: Construction of works (DT. 128B) of the project.
The above-mentioned construction package was widely bid through the network, with a price of more than 39.3 billion VND from the state budget.
In the near future, after having the bidding results, the contractor will deploy construction on provincial road 128B, the section passing through the highland commune of Tua Sin Chai.
According to the project dossier, for the foundation and road surface sections that are cracked and slightly detached, the contractor will plow and roll back the old road surface; strengthen 1 layer of water-based gravel on the top layer; asphalt paving 3 layers thick 3.5cm.
For road sections with damaged foundations, sludge, and rubber, the contractor will excavate and remove the old damaged road surface structure, excavate molds, and treat weak foundations (if any); then restore them with structures from the bottom up...
At the same time, repair and reinforce both sides of the road, curved road belly; handle smooth connections with cement concrete residential roads.
Along with that, the project will construct, repair and reinforce the drainage system; repair and supplement the traffic safety system; register procedures to serve management work.
The time to complete the project is 180 days, from the date the investor announces the commencement order.
The repair of the project aims to ensure traffic safety, enhance drainage capacity, limit degradation of project items and improve the operational efficiency of the road.
Tua Sin Chai commune was established on the basis of merging the natural area and population of 3 communes: Tua Sin Chai, Lang Mo, Ta Ngao of the old Sin Ho district.
This is a highland commune, with fragmented terrain, difficult transportation, dispersed population, mostly ethnic minorities, and a difficult life.
