The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just submitted a document on the termination of the Citizen Reception Point on Ly Thai Tong Street, Kinh Bac Ward, Bac Ninh Province.
The report stated that the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee was established under Decision No. 58/QD-UBND dated July 22, 2025 of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province. The Board's headquarters is on Ngo Van Canh Street, Bac Giang Ward and the Citizen Reception Point is on Ly Thai Tong Street, Kinh Bac Ward.
After two months of operation (from July 1 to August 31, 2025), the results of citizen reception at Kinh Bac Ward Citizen reception Point are specifically as follows:
Number of people working at the Citizen Reception Point: 4, including 1 Board leader, 1 labor contract; 2 security guards.
Regarding professional tasks: Results of citizen reception: Total number of citizen receptions, reflecting 24 cases, in which, new cases: 2; overlapping old cases: 22.
There was a large group of people coming to the Citizen Reception Point.
Results of receiving and handling petitions: Total number of petitions received, reflecting 5 cases (new case: 2; old case: 3).
According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, during the above period of operation, it shows that citizens have almost never come to the Citizen Reception Point in Kinh Bac ward to exercise their right to complain and denounce, most of the citizens gather at the Citizen Reception Office, Bac Giang ward
Therefore, continuing to maintain the operation of Kinh Bac Ward Citizen Reception Point causes waste of human resources (4 people) and operating costs (electricity, water, security), while at the Headquarters of the Committee in Bac Giang Ward, there is a shortage of human resources, making it difficult to implement the tasks of the Citizen Reception Committee.
Based on the above contents, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reports and asks for opinions from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on the termination of the Citizen Reception Point on Ly Thai Tong Street, Kinh Bac Ward, Bac Ninh Province from October 1, 2025.
