On June 26, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee - chaired a working session with Samsung E&A Vietnam Co., Ltd. to exchange cooperation orientations and study investment in clean water infrastructure projects in the area.
At the working session, Samsung E&A said that after signing a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with Thai Nguyen province in 2024, the enterprise surveyed the reality and proposed 6 clean water supply projects in Song Cong, Phu Binh, Vo Tranh, Linh Son and Dong Hy.
The total estimated investment of the above 6 projects is more than 1,230 billion VND, with a total capacity of over 100,000 m3/day and night. The projects aim to meet the water demand of people, industrial parks and serve socio-economic development.

Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong said that after implementing the merger of administrative units, the province has a larger development space, creating more room and motivation for development and always being in the group of leading localities in the country in attracting foreign investment.
Also according to Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, the rapid development of industrial parks and urban areas along with the social housing development program is posing an urgent requirement for synchronous investment in technical infrastructure systems, especially clean water supply, wastewater treatment and environmental infrastructure.
Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the capacity and experience of Samsung E&A and affirmed that the enterprise's proposals are in line with the province's development orientation. The locality always accompanies and creates favorable conditions for businesses within the framework of legal regulations.
The cooperation of Thai Nguyen province with Samsung E&A Co., Ltd. is expected to contribute to completing technical infrastructure, improving environmental quality, meeting the requirements of industrial and urban development and improving the quality of life of people in the area.
