On the afternoon of June 26, Mr. Bui Quoc Huan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Lac Duong commune (Lam Dong) - said that a fire had just occurred in the area, causing a house of a resident to be completely burned down.
According to initial information, at about 3:20 pm on the same day, people in Da Ra Hoa village discovered a fire breaking out from Mr. Co Sa Ha Xuy's house, so they shouted and mobilized everyone to rescue.
Many people used on-site vehicles to put out the fire, but the house was locked, so firefighting was difficult. After that, the fire engulfed the entire house, causing all efforts by people to put out the fire to fail.
The incident was reported to the local authorities and functional forces.
Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee of Lac Duong commune mobilized police and military forces to coordinate with the Fire and Rescue Police force to quickly arrive at the scene and deploy firefighting.
After about 30 minutes, the fire was controlled and extinguished. However, the house of about 45m2 was completely burned down.
According to the leader of Lac Duong Commune People's Committee, at the time of the fire, the homeowner had moved to a new residence, so there were no valuable assets and no residents inside, so there were no casualties.
Functional agencies are contacting the homeowner to statistically assess the damage, and at the same time investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
