Currently, tourist boats of both sides have not been allowed to tour each other, although the issue of connecting tours to Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba has been raised for a long time.
According to tourism workers and some owners of tourist boats operating in Lan Ha Bay, Ha Long Bay tourist boats that directly take tourists from Ha Long Bay to Lan Ha Bay have been going on for a long time, including rum rumored boats and accommodation boats.
The places that tourist boats on Ha Long Bay take tourists to visit on Cat Ba are Sang To Cave and Viet Hai ancient fishing village...
However, unlike Ha Long Bay, when ships in Lan Ha Bay are coming, they are reminded by Quang Ninh authorities to return, but on Cat Ba, tourists must buy tickets for any tourist attraction that sells sightseeing tickets.
According to some ship owners on both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, each side has different strengths, so they can complement each other, making the sightseeing itinerary attractive and diverse for tourists, especially for those who go on long overnight tours at sea.
Sharing with Lao Dong, some tour guides said that tourists who stay overnight on the train, especially with 2-night, 3-day tours, do not know what to do on the 2nd and 3rd days other than sitting on the train.
