Notably, the Resolution adds fees for visiting scenic spots for 3 tours on Ha Long Bay for tourists traveling on tourist boats who do not stay overnight.
Of these, there are 2 new routes and one route that has been put into service for tourists on restaurant ships but has not yet collected tolls.
The remaining 5 routes still have the same fares.
Specific new additional fees are as follows:
Ha Long 6 Bay Journey (new journey): Ship port - Hon Chan Voi - Ba Cua cape - Tung Lam Island - Hon Cau Bai (the end point of the journey adjacent to Gia Luan, Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong) or vice versa, with a fee of 150,000 VND/person/trip.
Ha Long Bay 7 Journey (new journey): Tourists are allowed to visit Ha Long Bay on the routes of Ha Long Bay 1 + Ha Long Bay 2 + Ha Long Bay 3 + Ha Long Bay 4, with a fee of 600,000 VND/person. This is also the highest tour fee in Ha Long Bay for tourists who do not stay overnight on the bay.
Ha Long Bay Journey 6: Tuan Chau Passenger Port - Ha Long International Passenger Port - South of the White Bridge area. This is a route running along the coast of Ha Long City and has been serving tourists for many years on restaurant ships but has not yet collected tolls.
The toll collection period for the above 3 routes is from May 1, 2025.
In 2024, the total amount of fees collected for visiting Ha Long Bay is over 900 billion VND.
Also according to the Resolution on amending and supplementing the content of fees and charges under the authority of the Provincial People's Council approved this morning (June 22), the rate of deduction for fees for visiting Yen Tu Relic and Scenic Landscape Area, Uong Bi City will be adjusted to increase from 20% to 40%. The implementation period is until December 31, 2025.
Currently, the fee to visit Yen Tu is: 40,000 VND/time/person for adults and 20,000 VND/time/person for children from 7 to 16 years old.
