    Ha Tinh - While fishing in the field, a local caught a 6kg python and then handed it over to release it to Vu Quang National Park.

    On the morning of October 29, Mr. Le Thanh Hai - Head of Thach Ha District Forest Protection Department - said that Thach Ha District Forest Protection Department had just coordinated with local people to capture a 6kg python and hand it over to officials of Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) to release it into the wild.

    According to Mr. Hai, a few days ago, Mr. Hoang Trong Nam's family (residing in Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province) went fishing in the field and discovered and caught the above python.

    After knowing that it was a rare python, Mr. Nam's family contacted the authorities to release it back into the wild.
