    Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just announced the list of 45 communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

    Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Lo Van Cuong has just signed Decision No. 46 on approving the list of villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, particularly difficult villages; communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, communes in regions I, II, III in the period 2026-2030 in the province.

    According to the Decision, approving the list of 1,276 villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, 923 particularly difficult villages; 45 communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, including: 2 communes in region I, 5 communes in region II, 38 communes in region III in the period 2026-2030.

    Zone I includes 2 wards: Dien Bien Phu and Muong Thanh.

    Zone III includes 38 communes, when there is a high rate of particularly difficult villages.
