According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the probability of rain is starting to decrease, mostly light rain, some places have moderate rain.

On the afternoon of November 6, in Ho Chi Minh City, thunderstorms are developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in Can Gio and Nha Be districts.

In the next 0-3 hours, thunderstorms will continue to develop, causing showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in the above areas, then expanding to other neighboring areas.

Rainfall is generally from 2-10 mm, in some places over 13 mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind around level 5-7 (8-17 m/s), heavy rain causing localized flooding.

The thunderstorms are caused by the continental cold high pressure continuing to strengthen and diffuse southward. The equatorial low pressure trough with an axis at about 4-7 degrees north latitude is weakly active. Above, the subtropical high pressure with an axis across the North Central region is strong.

Weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours, the continental cold high pressure continues to strengthen and diffuse to the South, after stabilizing. The low pressure trough with an axis of 5-8 degrees North latitude tends to slowly move to the South.

Above, the subtropical high pressure has an axis through the North and North Central regions. The high-altitude easterly wind disturbance is weak in the South. The northeasterly wind is moderate to strong in the sea area of the Southeast region.

From 72 hours, the continental cold high pressure is stable, then moves east and gradually weakens. The low pressure trough with an axis at about 4-8 degrees North latitude is weak and gradually moves south.

Above, the subtropical high pressure has an axis through the North Central region. The northeast wind is strong in the sea area of the Southeast region. From November 11, the wind intensity will gradually decrease. Around November 8, storm Yinxing is likely to enter the sea area of the Northeast East Sea.

Southern weather is cloudy, sunny during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, some places have moderate to heavy rain.

The sea area from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Ca Mau (including the sea area of Ho Chi Minh City) has Northeast wind level 4-5. Wave height 1.0-2.5 m. In both sea areas, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, beware of strong gusts of wind.
