Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just allocated more than 300 tons of rice and a series of national reserve materials to overcome the consequences of floods.

Mr. Lo Van Cuong - Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee has just signed Decision No. 2650 on the allocation of food, supplies, and equipment from national reserves to overcome the consequences of floods and natural disasters.

Specifically, a total of 309 tons of rice and many essential rescue and relief equipment were allocated to 17 units and localities.

Muong Luan commune was allocated the largest quantity with 149 tons of rice; Tia Dinh commune (65 tons), Muong Mon commune (40 tons), Xa Dung and Nam Ke communes (37 tons)...

In addition to rice, the province also allocated a large number of materials and rescue equipment to enhance disaster response capacity, including: 157 round life buoys; 202 life jacks; 81 light life rafts; 40 tarpaulin houses of 24.5 m2.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to organize the allocation of materials and equipment from the national reserve. At the same time, guide the management, preservation and use of reserve goods according to current regulations.
