At the beginning of September, at the construction site of Provincial Road 153 section from Bac Ha commune to the center of Ban Lien commune, many machines and manpower were mobilized to speed up construction.
Provincial Road 153 section from Bac Ha commune to the center of Ban Lien commune (phase 2) is one of the key traffic projects.
The project is about 13 km long, with a total investment of more than 127.5 billion VND, designed according to level V mountain road standards, roadbed and road surface width of 6.5 m, asphalt concrete road surface.
Along with the roadbed and surface, the project also invests in drainage ditches, retaining walls, traffic safety works and handles complex taluy positions.
At the construction site, Hoang Nguyen Construction Investment Co., Ltd. is increasing manpower, equipment, and accelerating the roadbed, drainage culvert, and taluy items.
The road passes through many villages and hamlets of the Tay, Dao, and Mong people.
For local people, the investment and expansion of the road not only helps travel more conveniently but also creates conditions for transporting agricultural products and goods.
Mr. Sung Chao Chinh, a resident of Ban Lien commune, said that his family regularly travels on this route.
After storm No. 3 in 2024, many road sections were damaged and landslides caused no small difficulties for travel.
Now that the State has invested in and expanded the road, we are very excited. We hope the project will be completed soon so that people can travel more conveniently and transport goods will also be less difficult," Mr. Chinh shared.
Mr. Trieu Quy Choi (Nam Det village) also hopes that the road will be completed soon so that people can conveniently travel and transport goods.

According to the contract, the construction package for Provincial Road 153 will be implemented in about 600 days, from August 2025 and is expected to be completed in March 2027.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Trong Quan - Deputy Director of the Bac Ha Regional Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the unit is strengthening site inspection, urging contractors and coordinating with local authorities to remove difficulties and accelerate progress.
According to Mr. Quan, the Board is focusing on implementing the assigned projects, striving to basically complete, hand over, put into use and finalize the project by December 30, 2026.
After site clearance, the Board will hand it over to contractors to organize construction.
This contributes to creating favorable travel conditions for people, and at the same time accelerating the project completion progress, soon handing over the project for use," Mr. Quan said.
When completed, Provincial Road 153 will contribute to increasing the connectivity of Bac Ha - Ban Lien, creating favorable conditions for trade, agricultural development, and tourism.
At the same time, expand output for typical products, including the Ban Lien organic tea region.
