On September 22, leaders of Phuoc Thanh Commune People's Committee confirmed that a traffic accident occurred in the commune involving two motorbikes and one car. As a result, 1 person died in the hospital and 1 person was injured.
The accident occurred at about 10 pm on September 21 on the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power road, passing through the Song Be bridge area, in Tan Phu hamlet, Phuoc Thanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, on the night of September 21, a young man of unknown name driving a motorbike with Vinh Long province license plate was traveling on the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power road in the direction from Phu Giao to Bau Bang.
When arriving at the above location, an accident occurred with a motorbike with Tay Ninh license plate driven by Mr. N.Q. K (born in 1981, from Da Nang city) and a car.
Both motorcyclists were injured and taken to the emergency room, but the young man who was too seriously injured died at the hospital.
Currently, functional agencies are investigating and clarifying.
Leaders of Phuoc Thanh Commune People's Committee added that the locality will also review and inspect the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power road. In case of damage or potholes, they will be proposed for repair to ensure safety for people to travel.
