The incident caused drivers to worry that these screws would puncture tires and cause accidents.
I was traveling when I was shocked to see many screws falling on the road. The section with the most had hundreds of nails scattered all over the road surface. Fearing being run over by cars, I and some people went down to collect nails to the side of the road. The number of nails was too many and we had to deliver goods urgently, so we could not collect them all" - driver P.H. H (born in 1981, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) said.

According to the drivers, the screws fell on the road stretching about 1km to Dinh Hoa roundabout. These screws were likely transported by cars but fell onto the road. On the road surface, there was packaging pasted with warehouse delivery slips with 226kg.
Upon receiving the news, officers of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to handle the incident. Currently, the screws have been swept and collected. At the same time, the police are conducting verification to clarify the number of screws that fell on the road.
