Lao Cai - While supporting the demolition of a brick wall in Sin Che commune, a wall suddenly collapsed, causing 3 casualties.

On the afternoon of October 3, in Sin Che commune (old Si Ma Cai district), a tragic accident occurred during the demolition of a brick wall house, causing 2 people to die on the spot and 1 person to be seriously injured.

Initial information, on the same morning, Mr. Lu Co Ch's family (Na Pa village) organized the demolition of the wooden house with a wall made of earth to build a new house, with the support of the son-in-law and neighbors.

At around 1 p.m., while people were breaking the earthen wall and cleaning up, the wall behind the house suddenly collapsed, burying 3 people.

The victims include Mr. Lu Y K (born in 1994, son-in-law of Mr. Ch), Mrs. Lung Thi Kh (born in 1976) and Mr. Nung Van D (born in 1998), all residing in Na Pa village.

As a result, Mr. K and Mrs. Kh died on the spot, Mr. D was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room.

Immediately after the incident, Sin Che Commune Police were present at the scene to coordinate the handling, and at the same time, local authorities initially provided 10 million VND to each household with a deceased person and 2 million VND to households with injuries.

The cause of the accident is continuing to be verified and clarified by the authorities.
