On the occasion of the New Year 2026 and the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, a delegation from Quang Tri province led by Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa, Commander of the Military Command (CHQS) of Quang Tri province, visited and wished Tet to the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Con Co special zone.
Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa sent New Year greetings of health, happiness, solidarity, and victory; wishing officers, soldiers and people on the island a warm, joyful, safe, and excellent task completion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
On this occasion, the working delegation presented gifts from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; Military Region 4 Command; Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Provincial Military Command to the Party Committee and People's Committee of Con Co Special Zone; armed forces, units and people on the island.
At the meeting with officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Con Co Special Zone, the Mixed Battalion and representatives of units, Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa summarized the outstanding results of the province in the past time; emphasized the strategic role and position and important contribution of the Party Committee, government, officers, soldiers and people of Con Co Special Zone in socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security.
The Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested units to continue to closely coordinate, strictly maintain the combat readiness regime, strengthen patrols, guards, and practice plans; maintain the core and reliable role of the Party Committee, government and people of the special zone, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands, sea and airspace of the Fatherland.
At the same time, units need to pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of soldiers and people; organize spring celebrations and Tet celebrations to ensure safety, economy, promote the tradition of solidarity, and successfully complete tasks, so that the Con Co special zone can welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 joyfully, warmly, and absolutely safely.
