On February 11, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc visited and wished Tet to officials, engineers and workers working at the Hong Ha bridge construction site - one of the key projects of the Ring Road 4 Project - Capital Region, in Bong Lai village, O Dien commune.
At the Hong Ha bridge construction site, Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc directly listened to reports on the construction progress, working conditions of officials, engineers, workers and arising difficulties and obstacles.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and efforts of the forces who are "working day and night" at the construction site to ensure the progress of key items of the project.
Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Project is a strategic infrastructure project, of particular importance to the development of the Capital and the region. Therefore, the Project Management Board, project enterprises and contractors need to continue to closely coordinate and promptly handle problems and problems arising at the construction site; organize scientific construction, ensure labor safety, quality and aesthetics of the project.
Mr. Ngoc requested the Project Management Board and contractors to pay attention to caring for the lives and working conditions of officials, engineers, and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year to create a spirit of labor emulation in the first days of the new year, contributing to maintaining the overall progress of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Project.
According to the report of Hanoi Ring Road 4 Joint Stock Company, Component Project 3 - investing in the construction of a highway in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) belongs to the Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region Project with a total length of 113.52km, passing through Hanoi City, Hung Yen province and Bac Ninh province. The total investment of the project is 56,993 billion VND, of which the State capital is 23,861 billion VND. The project implementation time is 30 months, the toll collection and capital recovery period according to the BOT contract is 21.36 years.
Up to now, site clearance work has achieved positive results. In Hanoi City, the project has received 57.52/58.12km, reaching 98.84%. Hung Yen province has handed over 17.56/19.18km, reaching 91.5%. Bac Ninh province is continuing to hand over the remaining sections and agreed to hand over to the project in February 2026.
