According to the report, in 2025, Tay Ninh province achieved and exceeded 14/14 key targets; economic growth reached 9.52%, bringing the scale of the economy to 10th in the country. Social security is guaranteed; tourism continues to grow; the political system is consolidated, increasingly clean and strong; national defense and security are maintained, and foreign affairs work is effectively implemented.
Preparing for Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee led and directed the synchronous implementation of tasks to take care of Tet for the people. The province has supported more than 268,000 gifts with a total budget of over 225 billion VND from the budget; organized visits and gifts to the poor, people with meritorious services, policy families, armed forces, social protection facilities, poor patients, elderly people, workers in difficult circumstances and children in special circumstances. Food safety and hygiene assurance, prevention of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and market stabilization have been strictly implemented.
Speaking at the visit and Tet greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Ninh province, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that Tay Ninh is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, associated with the Southern Central Bureau; is a border province with a particularly important strategic position, the gateway connecting the Southeast with the Southwest, connecting Vietnam with Cambodia and the ASEAN region.
In the context of 2025 closing with many complex developments of the world and regional situation, the General Secretary praised and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Ninh province; affirming that the province has been calm, proactive, drastic, not fluctuating in the face of difficulties, and not missing development opportunities.
The General Secretary pointed out that the period from now to 2030 and the vision to 2045 is of pivotal significance to the country, in which Tay Ninh plays an important role in the development of the province, the region and the whole country. Strong and sustainable development of Tay Ninh will contribute to consolidating the defense and security posture, expanding the economic development space in the South and strengthening regional integration.
The General Secretary requested the province to continue building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; build a contingent of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, and prestige; resolutely prevent and combat corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; promote the transformation of growth models, develop industry, high-tech agriculture, high-quality services, border gate economy and logistics; focus on completing infrastructure, building digital government, and a modern and effective administration.
The General Secretary noted that the province should organize well the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; continue to do well in mass mobilization work, maintain national defense and security, and build a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
Expressing confidence in the new development stage of the country, the General Secretary affirmed that, with the tradition of "Loyalty and resilience", the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Ninh province will continue to unite, innovate, be creative, turn aspirations into actions, and turn goals into specific results.
