In the early days of August, in many residential areas in Hanoi, when many families had gathered for dinner or prepared to rest, youth union members still diligently knocked on each door to support people in reviewing and comparing land information. This is part of the 45-day peak campaign to build and complete the land database implemented by the city to standardize information on more than 4 million land plots, serving digital transformation and administrative procedure reform.
In Hoang Mai ward, youth union members coordinate with digital transformation teams and residential groups to directly go to each household to check, update and verify information related to land use rights.
According to Mr. Bui Minh Hoang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hoang Mai ward, the ward Youth Union is supporting digital transformation teams in residential groups in reviewing and cleaning land data according to the city's direction. Youth union members are divided into many working shifts, coordinating with grassroots forces to accelerate the progress of reviewing land plots that need to be updated with information.
Ms. Trinh Thi Tra My, a union member participating in the campaign, said that the main job of the union members is to guide people to prepare land use right certificates, citizen identification cards and related documents such as power of attorney, tax documents or documents on assets attached to land for comparison and review of information.
The biggest difficulty is that many households go to work during the day, rent houses or employers are not present. Therefore, most of the work must be done outside of office hours. "Although it is hard, everyone tries their best because they hope that people will have more convenient land procedures later," Ms. My shared.
The dedication of the youth force was recognized by many people. Mr. Pham Dinh Chinh (Hoang Mai ward) said that his family had prepared land use right certificates and citizen identification cards according to the announcement of the neighborhood group leader before the union members came to support.
The children are very enthusiastic. Some days at 9-10 pm, they still go to each house to work. I see the children dedicated to the assigned tasks," Mr. Chinh shared. He said that the information lookup and comparison is carried out very quickly, in just a few minutes when people have prepared all the papers.
According to Mr. Chinh, this method is especially convenient for the elderly and families who are busy with work, because people do not have to travel a lot or wait at administrative agencies.
The 45-day peak campaign to build and complete the land database is being implemented by Hanoi throughout the area to standardize information according to the criteria "right - enough - clean - living", synchronously with the national population database and serve digital transformation in the field of land. Youth union members directly going to each household not only contributes to accelerating the progress of the campaign but also creates consensus, helping people access administrative procedures more conveniently in the digital environment.
